I'm a product-focussed serial CTO who loves building businesses and solving challenging problems. I'm a scientist at heart and bring a lean, user-centric approach to product development and innovation. I’ve scaled products and teams in companies with hundreds of employees processing millions of transactions per day. Over a decade of experience leading hybrid product teams, working closely with the C-suite, designers, engineers, researchers, and customers. I’ve lead transformation projects introducing techniques like agile, lean, and OKRs. Collaborate, deliver, reflect, improve. I'm an expert with various programming languages and technologies including Clojure, Ruby, Python, Typescript and Javascript, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Datomic, React.js, and lots more. I’ve deployed repeatable, horizontally-scalable, highly secure systems to AWS, GCP and Azure. I've worked with large datasets using batch and stream processing and have applied deep learning & ML to those datasets. I have strong fundamentals thanks to a background in Physics, and apply a lightweight, data-driven approach to innovation.
