Call for Content

Each year, CTO Craft Con brings together some of the brightest minds in technology leadership – and the voices that leave the biggest impact often come from within our own community.

That’s why we’re opening the floor to you.

Whether you’re scaling a FinTech startup, navigating complex change in an established organisation, or experimenting with new approaches to team, product or platform – your experience matters.

CTO Craft Con: The Finance Edition will unite technology leaders from across the finance and FinTech sectors to explore industry challenges, real-world case studies, and the future of financial technology leadership. We’re inviting speakers to share their stories, lessons and actionable strategies around our four core themes:

Leadership
From strategic planning and regulatory navigation to driving growth in uncertain times – share how you’re leading through complexity and change.

Technology
Tell us how you’re tackling software development, cybersecurity, infrastructure optimisation, or exploring emerging tech like AI, quantum computing or DeFi.

Culture
Bring your insights on building inclusive teams, psychological safety, communication across functions, and fostering cultures where innovation thrives.

Wellbeing
Talk about how you balance the pressures of tech leadership in finance – from preventing burnout to managing stress and supporting career longevity.

We’re not just looking for talks. You might want to lead a workshop, facilitate a roundtable or host a small-group session. We welcome formats that spark conversation, connection, and practical takeaways.

If you’ve got a story to tell or lessons others can learn from – we’d love to hear from you.

Benefits of speaking at CTO Craft Conference:

  • Raise your profile: Presenting can increase your visibility and establish you as an expert in your field.
  • Networking opportunities: Speaking can provide a unique opportunity to meet and network with like-minded individuals.
  • Showcase your work: Speaking is a great way to share your research, ideas, and projects with a wider audience and get feedback from peers.

What do you get if you are successful?

  • Speaker pass for the event (already paid for a pass? No worries – this will be refunded if you are successful).
  • A speaking slot at CTO Craft Con: The Finance Edition
  • £200 speaker fee
  • Dedicated support from our team at all stages.

What do we need from you?

  • A bit about yourself, such as personal details.
  • Provide a one-sentence bio that summarises your professional background or expertise.
  • Include links to any previous talks you have given.
  • A title for your talk that accurately reflects the content and message you want to convey.
  • Write a brief synopsis or summary of your session, highlighting key points and takeaways for the audience.
  • Categorise your talk based on the theme or topic that it covers (more on that below).
  • Provide basic approvals to record your talk, such as granting permission for it to be shared online or archived for future reference.

So, don’t hesitate, get your brain engaged and start considering what you are passionate about discussing with the Community. Then submit your application, and we’ll let you know nearer the time if you’ve been successful. We intend to make this a big part of future conferences, regional talks as well as our online events, so if you aren’t successful this time, this isn’t your only chance, this is also an opportunity to get in contact early on and practise the process.

Submission Deadline: 25th June

As always if you have any questions, please reach out to hannah@ctocraft.com.

Best of Luck!
