Richard Marr is a two-time founder and former CTO and CPTO. Over a 25-year career, he has built products, companies and engineering organisations, including co-founding Applied, the behavioural-science hiring platform recently acquired by Phenom, and working as part of the early team at JustGiving. His interests sit at the intersection of technology, product strategy, organisational design and human behaviour, with a particular focus on creating systems that help people make better decisions. He is currently VP of Engineering at PensionBee, where he leads teams modernising a regulated fintech platform and helps shape how product, design and engineering work together.
