COVID-19 Safety Policy

The following guidelines are accurate as of February 1, 2023.

The information below is given as a guide as to what to expect, but it is subject to change.

We’re pleased to be preparing for our first in-person conference and excited by the feedback we’ve received from the community about the appetite for networking events and to be able to meet peers face-to-face. However, ensuring you have a safe and enjoyable experience is of paramount importance to us. We work closely with all venues hosting CTO Craft events to ensure that we follow official guidance and best practices when it comes to COVID safety.

This page contains the latest policy and guidelines on how we aim to tackle this issue but if entry requirements or COVID-19 guidelines before the conferences we will update you by email. Everyone in attendance at our events, including ticket holders, sponsors, speakers, members of staff and our service partners must comply with all updates.

All UK Government mandated COVID-19 restrictions have now been lifted, however some of our attendees may be vulnerable or have other COVID-related reasons meaning they are not comfortable socialising as before. Please respect all attendees’ individual wishes on social distancing and mask wearing.

For the safety of everyone at our events, we recommend that attendees take a rapid lateral flow test no more than 24 hours before arriving at the event and to stay at home in the case of a positive result. In the event of a positive result that prevents attendance we’re unable to refund tickets due to having made catering and other provisions. However we will reimburse the difference between the in-person ticket cost and the online only ticket cost where one exists. If the event is not a hybrid event we always record sessions and will make them available to you immediately after the event.

Enhanced Safety Precautions On-Site

    • Increased sanitation programme to suit the levels of activity within the venue. Additional focus on touch points, toilet facilities and kitchens

    • Automatic hand sanitiser stations installed in key locations

    • Considered furniture arrangements so events retain comfort and atmosphere

    • Venue employees and CTO Craft staff are educated and trained on latest COVID-19 protocols and guidelines.

    • Well thought-out catering solutions  will be provided in line with the latest government guidance that also reduce dwell time and contact

If you feel unwell or have any COVID symptoms, we kindly ask that you do not attend the conference. If you start experiencing COVID symptoms during the event, please leave the premises and email rachel.thomas@ctocraft.com  to inform the event organizers. If you have purchased a ticket on behalf of someone else, please pass this information on to them.

Our priority is to deliver a safe event that brings the CTO Craft community together and we look forward to seeing you there. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly: conference@ctocraft.com.
