Following the success of our roundtable discussions in 2024, we’re excited to introduce Conversations—a dynamic format designed to elevate collaboration and networking. These interactive group sessions put you in the mix, offering a deeper, hands-on experience that engages every participant.

Conversation sessions are crafted to be participatory and stimulating, fostering an environment where ideas flow freely, connections are forged, and meaningful discussions thrive.

How It Works:

  • Three sessions per day: Each lasting 60 to 90 minutes, led by expert facilitators.
  • Round tables: Groups of 8-10 with a leader to guide discussions and capture insights.
  • Focus on collaboration: Every voice is heard, ensuring active participation and contribution.

Session Examples:

  • Real-world CTO Challenges: Address issues like scaling infrastructure or implementing AI solutions.
  • CTO Leadership Challenge: Virtual teams tackle leadership scenarios, promoting networking and collaboration.

Call for Speakers

At CTO Craft, our mission is to create a platform where every voice is heard and every perspective is valued. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or just starting out, we welcome submissions from anyone passionate about the future of engineering and technology.

The call for speakers for CTO Craft Con: London is now open! This year, we’ve opened submissions early to give you ample time to consider and prepare your applications. Submissions will close on: 25th October 2024. 

Not sure what to talk about yet? No problem! You can also apply to join one of our engaging panel discussions as a speaker.

Have a session in mind that doesn’t fit a traditional presentation format? We’d love to hear about it!

What do we need from you? 

  • A bit about yourself, such as personal details. 
  • Provide a one-sentence bio that summarises your professional background or expertise.
  • Include links to any previous talks you have given. 
  • A title for your talk that accurately reflects the content and message you want to convey.
  • Write a brief synopsis or summary of your session, highlighting key points and takeaways for the audience.
  • Categorise your talk based on the theme or topic that it covers (more on that below). 
  • Provide basic approvals to record your talk, such as granting permission for it to be shared online or archived for future reference.

Wellbeing

  • Wellbeing – Work-life balance, physical health, posture & relationships
  • Stress – Types of stress, dealing with stress, burnout & building resilience
  • Growth – Personal development, time management & career planning

So, don’t hesitate, get your brain engaged and start considering what you are passionate about discussing with the Community. Then submit your application, and we’ll let you know nearer the time if you’ve been successful. We intend to make this a big part of future conferences, regional talks as well as our online events, so if you aren’t successful this time, this isn’t your only chance, this is also an opportunity to get in contact early on and practise the process.
